DBR Lafite Chateau d' Aussieres
DBR Lafite
Domaines Barons de Rothschild (Lafite) have always made excellent winemaking and savoir-vivre an integral part of their legacy. Several generations of exceptional individuals have, over the centuries, worked toward a high principle: discovering soils with strong potential, and then producing the finest product possible. This philosophy is based on two principals shared by all the DBR teams:Humbleness in learning: it takes time to make the soil excellent. Fine wines are the fruit of years of toil •High quality standards: the meticulous respect of quality by using best practices, and the constant desire to improve these practices. The DBR "Collection" all reflect the same commitment and quality that originate with the production of the most famous of all wines, Chateau Lafite Rothschild 1er Grand Cru Classe

Tasting note: DBR Lafite Chateau d' Aussieres
Dark colour with glints of violet. The nose is deep and elegant, but still quite closed. The effect of the barrel-ageing is not yet fully integrated, but the delicate woody notes are already blending with aromas of pine and eucalyptus. The palate it is powerful with notes of cherry and chocolate.
