Chateau D' Esclans Garrus
Chateau D' Esclans
Unquestionably the finest rose wine in the world. Acclaimed so by virtually every wine critic and publication Château D’Esclans offers two wines; Whispering Angel which is the entry level wine but serious enough to be poured in the greatest hotels and restaurants in the world and Château D’Esclans. These wines are from the picturesque estate in Provence near to St. Tropez. Amazingly the wines are vinified by Patrick Leon former winemaker for decades at Château Mouton-Rothschild. There are no other Rose wines like these.

Tasting note: Chateau D' Esclans Garrus
Extremely transparent and pale rosé color. Concentrated aromas and flavors of dried citrus give the rosé plenty of power. Glazed pear and pineapple fill the mid palate, and the creamy finish features rich, spicy notes. Powerful and elegant. Reminds me of a vintage Champagne like Krug with out the bubbles
