Blankiet Estate Prince of Music Napa Valley
Blankiet Estate
Claude and Katherine Blankiet searched many years for a track of land on the western foothills of the Mayacamas Mountains in the Napa Valley with the single vision of producing world class wines. In January of 1996 they had the chance to view an undeveloped hillside above the Napanook vineyard in Yountville that their agent had secured a hold for one day. Without any hesitation, the Blankiets bought the land on the spot and named it Paradise Hills.

Tasting note: Blankiet Estate Prince of Music Napa Valley
Deep garnet-purple colored, it comes bounding out of the glass with notes of black plum preserves, morello cherries, black raspberries and redcurrant jelly with suggestions of cedar chest, menthol, pencil lead and cardamom. Medium to full-bodied, the palate has great intensity with a real skip in its step, featuring bold, crunchy fruit and rounded tannins with seamless freshness and a fragrant finish.
